Expertenseminar 2022 - Hagel- und Frostschäden an Beeren

This year's event was held in the Lucerne|Zug area from May 18 to 20, 2022, on the invitation of Schweizer Hagel. More than 120 international loss adjusters from 14 countries dealt with the assessment of hail and frost damage on berries. Due to Covid-19, the 2021 event had to be held digitally, so the participants were all the more looking forward to a personal exchange and practical damage assessment in the field. The expert seminars give loss adjusters the opportunity to compare and review their own loss assessment procedures with those of other companies.

Pascal Forrer, president of AIAG and director of Swiss Hail, welcomed the international loss adjusters to the Campus Sursee on May 18, 2022, and Hubert Zufferey of the Swiss Fruit Association provided information on the challenges facing berry production in Switzerland. The practical damage assessment of hail and frost damage on berries took place at the Buuregarte Boog in Hünenberg. The Boog family has been successfully growing berries, lettuce, flowers and vegetables on their farm for several generations. Swiss Hail and AIAG would like to take this opportunity to thank the Boog family for offering the opportunity to hold the expert seminar on their farm.
